Priorities
2 May 2023 | The neighbourhood team are always keen to get involved with community events and get to know the people. Let us know where you want to see us! We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to get to know our community, so if you have an event or group that you’d like us to attend, an issue that you need police help with, or just somewhere that you’d like to see us patrolling more often then get in touch and let us know. |
2 May 2023 | Numerous reports have been made regarding "off road motorbikes using the fields. Police will be closely monitoring the situation with partners and agencies. We encourage members of the public to report any issues seen. Response (3 Dec 2021)The Council has now put in place signage advising that “off road” motorbikes are prohibited to ride on the green open space. |
2 May 2023 | As a team we have become more aware of the illegal and dangerous riding of E-Scooters on our pavements and roads. Officers are working hard to educate, warn and where necessary seize scooters being ridden dangerously. |
2 May 2023 | The neighbourhood policing team will be increasing patrols in any area's identified as having an increase in burglaries. Communities may receive crime prevention leaflets or see us out on foot patrol to deter criminality. If you would like advice on protecting your homes, then please make contact or attend one of our planned neighbourhood surgeries. |
