Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, how many convicted Republican terrorists, who were subsequently provided with letters of comfort by the Government have been re-convicted of a terrorism-related offence.

Answer

The Government does not hold the requested information on convictions as this is a matter for the independent prosecuting authorities and the courts.
