Work Capability Assessment (27 June 2018)

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, pursuant to the Answer of 25 June 2018 to Question 154724, if she will publish an evaluation of the steps taken by her Department to implement any recommendations made following that investigation into Keith Morgan’s Work Capability Assessment.

The Department ensured that Atos Healthcare (now Independent Assessment Services) conducted a thorough investigation into Mr Morgan’s complaint. Following this investigation the Provider took the appropriate management action to address the conduct of the Health Professional in accordance with their serious complaint procedures. The Department was satisfied that Mr Morgan’s complaint had been fully investigated and the findings acted upon by Atos Healthcare.
