Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people aged (a) under 18 and (b) 18 and over who have been detained in immigration removal centres (IRCs) in England and Wales are missing having left the premises without permission from each IRC.

Answer

No detainees absconded from the detention estate located in England and Wales in 2013, the latest year for which figures have been published.
