To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what information his Department holds on the destruction of records relating to indefinite leave to remain.

Answer

The Home Office does not organise its files on the basis of the type of application made, so it is not possible to provide information about destruction of files containing indefinite leave to remain applications.
