To ask the Secretary of State for Education, whether his Department plans to publish the draft guidance on Relationships and Sex Education by the summer recess 2018.

Answer
The Department recently conducted a thorough engagement process on the scope and content of Relationships Education and Relationships and Sex Education, and on the status of Personal, Social, Health and Economic education (PSHE). This involved a wide range of interested stakeholders and a public call for evidence.
The Department plans to publish the results of the call for evidence in due course alongside a consultation on draft regulations and accompanying statutory guidance, before laying the regulations in the House for debate.
