Courts: Repairs and Maintenance (26 September 2014)

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how much funding his Department has provided for the upkeep of and refurbishment of courts that are over 100 years old in the latest period for which figures are available.

The Ministry of Justice and HM Courts & Tribunals Service are unable to collate the information required to answer the question without a detailed check to ensure the information is accurate. I will write to the honourable member in due course with the information once it is available.
