Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of the potential effect on the number of chefs in the armed forces of the UK leaving the EU.

Answer

The Ministry of Defence recognises that, given the number of non-UK employees in the catering and hospitality industry, any BREXIT impact in this sector could potentially affect the recruitment and retention of chefs in the Armed Forces.
