To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what information his Department holds on the number of people who contacted NHS England's Customer Contact Centre after being unable to find a dentist accepting NHS patients in 2017.

Answer
NHS England’s Customer Contact Centre handled 12,712 enquiries about National Health Service dental services in 2017. NHS England has advised that it does not hold information on the number of the number of people who contacted the Contact Centre specifically because they were unable to find a dentist accepting NHS patients.
