Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland, what the (a) highest and (b) lowest full-time equivalent salary paid by his Department was in (i) 2010-11, (ii) 2011-12, (iii) 2012-13, (iv) 2013-14 and (v) 2014-15; and if he will make a statement.

Answer

The Scotland Office does not employ staff directly. All staff join on a secondment type basis from other Government bodies, principally the Scottish Government and Ministry of Justice, which remain the employers. As such there are variations in pay costs within the administration grades. The information requested is shown below:
