PARLIAMENTARY WRITTEN QUESTION
Equal Pay: Females (20 February 2018)

Question Asked

To ask the Minister for Women and Equalities, how many staff employed by the Equality and Human Rights Commission are working on the gender pay gap.

Asked by:
Alison McGovern (Labour)

Answer

The Equality and Human Rights Commission is an independent public body and decisions on staffing requirements are operational matters for the Commission itself. I have therefore asked the Commission’s Chief Executive Officer to write to the Hon member with the information requested. I will place a copy of the letter in the libraries of both Houses.
