Asked by:
Stephen Morgan (Labour)

Answer

At budget the Chancellor announced £28 million of funding to pilot the Housing First approach for some of the country’s most entrenched rough sleepers. The pilots will cover 3 major regions of England. The West Midlands Combined Authority, Greater Manchester, and the Liverpool City Region.

The pilots will gather data on the effectiveness of Housing First and will inform any wider roll-out of the approach to other parts of the country.
