PARLIAMENTARY WRITTEN QUESTION
Church House (7 December 2017)
Question Asked
Asked by:
Sir Desmond Swayne (Conservative)
Answer
An agreement between the House of Commons and Church House expired in 2006.
The House has new contingency plans for a forced relocation in the event of a fire, flood, or other emergency. These plans are not limited by or dependent on one relocation venue or building, and they address a variety of different risks, scenarios and requirements.
It would be inappropriate to expand further due to security considerations.
