To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 16 October 2017 to Question 106036, on the United Kingdom Holocaust Memorial Foundation, for what reasons that Answer did not provide the date of the Government's decision on the learning centre's location in Victoria Tower Gardens.

Answer

The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government took the decision to co-locate the learning centre with the memorial in Victoria Tower Gardens, subject to technical, financial, planning or other constraints, in September 2016, prior to announcing the start of the architectural design competition.
