Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what forecast his Department made of total IT spending in (a) the full business case for universal credit currently being considered by HM Treasury and (b) the business case previously approved for universal credit.

Answer

Universal Credit is a major reform that will transform the Welfare State in Britain, bringing £35bn in economic benefits. The Programme is delivering within its allocated budgets.
