PARLIAMENTARY WRITTEN QUESTION
Women's Rights (9 October 2017)
Question Asked
Asked by:
Ms Stella Creasy (Labour)
Answer
The UK Government’s record on equalities is one of the best in the world and we are determined this will remain so as, and after, we leave the EU.
We will ensure all the protections in the Equality Act 2010, including the public sector equality duty, continue to apply once we have left the EU. This will ensure women’s rights of protection against discrimination are preserved, and provide a strong platform for further progress
