Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many Metropolitan Police officers were deployed on the streets in each year since 2010; and if she will make a statement.

Answer

The data held by the Home Office cannot separately identify officers deployed
on the streets.

The deployment of officers in the Metropolitan Police is an operational matter
for the Commissioner, who is held to account by the Mayor of London.
