To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, in which prison the largest number of phones was seized over the last 12 months.

Answer
The illicit use of mobile phones undermines the safety and security of prisons. We are taking urgent and decisive action as the number of mobile phones and SIM cards seized continues to be too high.
Between July 2016 and June 2017, the prison with the most mobile phones found was HMP Altcourse with 583.
