Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, what red lines he is using in trade talks on (a) employment rights, (b) environmental protections, (c) consumer rights and (d) human rights.

Answer

The UK has long supported the promotion of our values globally and this will continue as we leave the EU. We are exploring all options in the design of future bilateral trade and investment agreements, in conjunction with other departments across Whitehall.
