Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what progress the Government has made in strengthening the (a) rights of parents of summer born-children to defer the year of their child's entry to school and (b) right for a child to remain in the same academic year irrespective of changes in school or local authority; and when the Government plans to consult on proposed changes to the Admissions Code.
