To ask the Secretary of State for Education, when the allocation for extended rights to free home-to-school travel will be published for each fiscal year from 2017-18 to 2019-20.

Answer
We aim to publish extended rights allocations in good time to enable local authorities to make suitable arrangements for the transport of eligible pupils before the start of the academic year. We expect to publish allocations for 2017-18 shortly. As the timing of the publication of the allocations can change from year to year, we cannot confirm the publication dates for 2018-19 and 2019-20.
