To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what steps she is taking to ensure that fire and rescue services' flood response is adequately funded.

Answer
Fire and Rescue Services undertake a vital and lifesaving role and public safety is our top priority.
There is no question that the Fire and Rescue Service has the resources it needs to do their important work; single purpose FRAs will see a reduction in their core spending power of only 0.8% over the entire current spending review period to 2019/20 in cash terms.
