Developing Countries: Forests (27 February 2017)

Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what financial support her Department plans to provide to support forest governance in developing countries in (a) 2016-17, (b) 2017-18, (c) 2018-19 and (d) 2019-20.

Answer

In financial year 2016-17 DFID expects to spend approximately £55 million to ensure better governance and management of forests. Future funding plans are subject to agreement by ministers.
