Answer
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is developing a medtech innovation briefing (MIB) on FreeStyle Libre which it expects to publish in May 2017. NICE MIBs provide information on device and diagnostic technologies to aid local decision-making by clinicians, managers and procurement professionals. They contain no judgement on the value of the technology and they do not contain a recommendation from NICE.
