Migrant Workers: Free Movement of People (17 January 2017)

Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, when she plans to bring forward legislative proposals for Directive 2014/54/EU on measures facilitating the exercise of rights conferred on workers in the context of freedom of movement for workers to be transposed into UK law.

Answer

The UK already broadly fulfils the obligations set out in the Directive and these are reflected in our domestic laws.
