Answer
Since the launch of the Help to Buy: Equity Loan, Help to Buy: Mortgage Guarantee and Help to Buy: NewBuy schemes, the total number of households which have received assistance from all three schemes is 201,322 in the UK, 2,875 in Leeds local authority, 520 in Leeds East and 7,960 in West Yorkshire metropolitan county.
The total number of people who have received assistance from the Help to Buy ISA is 38,595 in the UK, 850 in Leeds, 65 in Leeds East, and 1902 in West Yorkshire. The Help to Buy ISA figures are based on the number of bonuses paid (per person) rather than per property.
