PARLIAMENTARY WRITTEN QUESTION
ACAS: Staff (12 December 2016)

Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what plans he has for the future staffing of the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service.

Asked by:
Clive Lewis (Labour)

Answer

Workforce planning for the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (Acas) is based on maintaining approximately the same number of staff as at present.

As is the case for other public bodies, Acas has not yet had confirmation of financial allocations for future years. Acas may need to reflect any material changes to those allocations in its subsequent workforce planning.
