Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the Answer of 23 June 2014, Official Report, column 78W, on children: social services, and with reference to clause 71 of the Deregulation Bill, whether the Government intends to maintain the requirement for all third-party social work providers to register with Ofsted.

Answer

The Deregulation Bill contains provisions that would remove the requirement for providers of social work services to register with Ofsted.
