Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many full-time equivalent members of staff his Department has employed to work on the design and implementation of universal credit in each year since its introduction.

Answer

Over this period around 600 people, consisting of direct employees and contractors, have been working on the Universal Credit Programme.
