To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, what the average total debt was of individuals who filed for a debt relief order in each of the last five years.

Answer
The average debt level of an individual that was granted a Debt Relief Order in England and Wales in each of the last five years can be found in table 1 below.
