Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what discussions he has had with his EU counterparts on recent difficulties facing Bulgarian banks.

Answer

Government Ministers have not had discussions with other EU Member States on the recent events involving some Bulgarian banks. We understand that the Bulgarian authorities are conducting internal investigations on the activity of one bank.
