To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what plans he has to ensure that all rolling stock on the Midland Mainline is compliant with disability legislation by 2020.

Answer
Train operators, working with rolling stock owners, are responsible for ensuring that the rolling stock they operate complies with disability legislation. The Department will continue to monitor operators’ compliance with the relevant legislation to ensure that all rolling stock requiring modification is accessible by 31 December 2019.
