Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what representations he has made to the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy on (a) the link between increased productivity and good safety and health management and (b) that link forming part of the Government's new industrial strategy.

Answer

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions has made no such representations to the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Health and Safety Executive (HSE) officials have liaised with BEIS counterparts about how HSE work can assist the new industrial strategy.
