Answer
In the 2015 Strategic Defence and Security Review the Government announced that the United Kingdom would purchase a fleet of nine Boeing P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft to provide a maritime patrol capability.
These aircraft will all be based at RAF Lossiemouth.
