West Coast Main Line (23 June 2014)

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many carriages in Virgin West Coast's nine-car pendolino fleet will be re-configured to create more standard class passenger seats under the terms of the new rail franchise agreement; and where such re-configuration work will be carried out.

Twenty one (21) of the Pendolino fleet will be refurbished to convert the first class coach G in each of the 9 car Class 390 to standard class. The location of the refurbishment works has not been determined.
