To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, on which sections of the (a) TransPennine Express and (b) Northern Rail franchises service levels no longer match passenger demand.

Statistics showing where there is overcrowding on peak weekday Northern Rail and First TransPennine Express services in a number of cities in England are available at the following link.

These statistics only cover routes in the selected cities and the Department does not hold the information requested for other locations.
