Answer
The number of children who ceased to be looked after due to the granting of a special guardianship order during the year ending 31 March 2016, is shown in the table below1,2,3.

- Only the last occasion on which a child ceased to be looked in the year has been counted.
Figures exclude children looked after under an agreed series of short term placements.
