PARLIAMENTARY WRITTEN QUESTION
Cedars Pre-departure Accommodation Facility: Families (13 October 2016)
Question Asked
Asked by:
Ms Stella Creasy (Labour)
Answer
The number of families accommodated at Cedars for each of the last three years, along with the numbers subsequently removed or released is as follows:
Calendar Year | Total stays | Families removed | Families released |
2013 | 48 | 19 | 29 |
2014 | 18 | 10 | 8 |
2015 | 21 | 6 | 15 |
The definition of a family in Cedars is one adult with at least one child under the age of 18. These statistics have been taken from a live operational database. As such, numbers may change as information on that system is updated.
