To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what estimate he has made of (a) the number of British armed forces personnel operationally deployed to Northern Ireland in each year from April 1984 to April 2010 and (b) the number of such personnel who were accompanied by (i) a spouse or (ii) a civil partner in each of those years.
