PARLIAMENTARY WRITTEN QUESTION
Business: Climate Change (25 April 2016)

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, if her Department will take steps to promote access to the Climate Ready Support Service's online tools and to encourage businesses to plan for climate change.

The extensive range of tools that the CRSS produced with stakeholders over the past four years will continue to be available to help businesses adapt. They are currently available across a range of websites, due to the partnership nature of the service’s work. The majority can be found at http://climateuk.net/ and http://www.iema.net/. If any transitional or new hosting arrangements were to be necessary they will be clearly signposted.

The Environment Agency will continue to play an important role in helping businesses adapt to climate change, especially as part of its core role on flooding, coastal risks, water management, freshwater habitats, and as a statutory adviser in the land-use planning system.
