To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what data sets are maintained by the NHS Litigation Authority.

Answer

The National Health Service Litigation Authority maintains data sets relating to the following:

Management of clinical negligence and other non-clinical claims against the National Health Service in England on behalf of member organisations;

Referrals to the National Clinical Assessment Service;

Appeals in primary care contract disputes;

Notifications made under the Performers List Regulations; and

Operation of the Healthcare Professional Alert Notice System.
