To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether he was consulted prior to Network Rail's decision to reshape the South West Trains Alliance announced on 12 June 2015.

Answer

The Secretary of State was notified that the Deep Alliance was being terminated and reshaped prior to the announcement on 12th June.　 This was a commercial decision for Network Rail and South West Trains to make.
