Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many and what proportion of personal independence payment claimants have (a) appealed and (b) successfully appealed a negative decision on a personal independence payment application.

Answer

The Ministry of Justice publish statistics on Personal Independence Payment appeals to the Social Security and Child Support Tribunal each quarter.
