PARLIAMENTARY WRITTEN QUESTION
Renewable Energy: Greenwich and Woolwich (4 September 2015)
Question Asked
Asked by:
Matthew Pennycook (Labour)
Answer
DECC has not estimated investment in renewable energy by constituency. However, as at the end of June 2015, 596 kW of solar photovoltaic capacity had been installed in Greenwich and Woolwich under the feed-in tariff scheme (see: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/sub-regional-feed-in-tariffs-confirmed-on-the-cfr-statistics).
DECC also reports on heat accreditations at local authority level (see https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/rhi-deployment-data-july-2015 , tables 1.6 and 2.11), as well as publishing a breakdown of renewable electricity generation and deployment by region (at https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/regional-renewable-statistics).
