Question Asked

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, how many officials in his Department are working on the Scottish rate of income tax.

Answer

HM Treasury regularly reviews and deploys its staff as appropriate to meet ministerial and departmental priorities. Appropriate resource is being allocated to work on the Scottish rate of income tax from within existing departmental budgets.
