To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, what her Department is doing to provide support for and encourage investment in renewable energy projects in (a) Bradford and (b) West Yorkshire.

Answer
The Government’s current support schemes for the deployment of renewable generation (currently the Renewables Obligation, the Feed-in Tariff and Contracts for Difference) operate across Great Britain. This support is not targeted at any specific geographical area.
