Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many specialist nurses are trained to support people with learning disabilities in England.

Answer

The following table shows the number of pre-registration learning disability nurse places that were filled as at 31 March in academic years 2012-13 and 2013-14.

The table also details the number of pre-registration nursing places that have been commissioned for academic years 2014-15 and 2015-16.
