Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will take steps to ensure that illegal monitoring of private telecommunications does not take place on US military bases in the UK.

Answer

Activities at RAF bases made available to the United States Visiting Forces are, and will continue to be, carried out in accordance with both UK and US law.
