PARLIAMENTARY WRITTEN QUESTION
Railways: Greater London (17 June 2015)

During the last year, I and other transport Ministers have held regular meetings with the representatives of a number of train operating companies, including Southern, Southeastern, South West Trains and Govia Thameslink Railway.

My first priority in this new parliament is to see performance in the South East improve. We have been working closely with Mark Carne of Network Rail, the operators of Southeastern and Govia Thameslink Railway, and the current (and future) operator of Southern to review the work that Network Rail’s senior team has undertaken on the past few weeks to improve performance in and on their network.
