To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the effect of economic inequalities on growth.

Answer
The UK was the fastest growing G7 economy in 2014 and the OECD forecasts that we will be so again in 2015. At the same time, UK income inequality is lower than it was in 2010-11 and living standards are forecast to be higher than they have ever been this year.
